In 2011 the II Conferência CSEAR South America will be in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, in the Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade de Ribeirão Preto da Universidade de São Paulo - FEA-RP/USP.

The Conference will have for aim the research in environmental e social accounting.

The CSEAR South America will be a conference like CSEAR UK, (Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research), a research centre which has about 600 researchers from 30 countries and which has the aim the accounting social and environmental sustainable development and others similar subjects. It was born in 1991 and it is today the most important research world centre of Environmental Accounting. It is associated to Management Scholl of St. Andrew University. Rob Graywas your creator and he is author of the first world book about environmental accounting.

The first version in Brazil was organized by UFRJ - Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, in 2009.
